Inspired by the blueberry lemon curd tart, I decided to try to make orange curd. When you taste the lemon curd and then the orange curd, it is surprising that they are almost the same recipe. The lemon curd has such a tang to it, while the orange curd tastes so creamy. It reminds me of an orange creamsicle. So good on a piece of toast, ice cream or straight out of the jar. I love this, especially in lemon version... But I never add butter, it's seems to be more than filling than a kind of jam if I add it.
