Summer Photos

These are photos from farmer's markets and my last Monterey trip.

Remember to enter the contest to win a print by leaving a comment on the last post. I'll let everyone know who won on Tuesday afternoon! Good luck!

Even if you don't win, just visit The Figgy. and get yourself a little treat :)

Oh and I just got in yesterday the new lens I ordered. 50mm 1.4! Oh my gosh it is so nice. You can tell the quality, its so heavy and makes the 1.8 look like a toy. The 1.8 cheap lens did a great job for what it is, and lasted a really long time, but I needed an upgrade. It always seemed kinda weird to spend hundreds of dollars on a camera body but then put a cheap lens on it. Now just saving up for a full frame camera... geez that one is going to break the bank...

Your photos are so great! Question for you (if you're inclined to answer such questions)- how do you get 4 in one block like that? Is it a photoshop thing? I'd love to be able to do that on my page.

Thanks!!

Lovely, lovely photos. I'm so envious of your new 1.4. I'm hoping to one day upgrade to it as well. The 1.8 just isn't cutting it anymore. Oh, and I'm new here. I found you through Honey & Jam.
