Apple Pecan Sticky Buns

Sticky buns, an adventure with an improperly working oven.

So I thought the sticky buns were done because they have been in the oven for 30 minutes and the tops looked pretty brown. But my oven has a mind of its own and never actually gets to the proper temperature. Its been like this for years so I can normally, lower the temp by 25-50 degrees and whatever I'm baking will come out find, but not today.

OMFG moment. The buns completely were not baked at the bottom and were all over the counter because I had tried to flip them. So I had to squish them back into the pan, scraping up everything off the counter. So I told my Mom 'We're not having sticky buns anymore, we're having sticky bun casserole.' After all of that craziness, they taste so good! Sometimes I find cinnamon rolls or sticky buns can be a bit dry, but these are so moist and full of apple flavor.

Wow, I'm speechless and in awe. I would inhale these that's how amazing they look! Sticky buns have got to be the best thing ever, add some apples and pecans to the mix and it's heaven in a bun!! Scrumptious!
