Cocoa Hazelnut Granola

Granola. One of the perfect breakfast foods. Well one of the perfect snack food to me as well. I love a grocery store so much more when they have the bulk bins and I can grab as much as I want (and mix them together when they aren't looking). And making this, when it comes out you push it all together to form clusters. Such a great idea. The big clusters are always the part I go to first. Every past time I have tried to make granola, it never really came out good, probably because I never used a recipe. It was normally a mix of whatever I had in my cupboard and it never came out with big clusters. Go make some granola, easy and so yummy.

Everything about this recipe looks perfect. Chocolate+cranberries is one of my favorite combinations, and I can't imagine hazelnuts possibly making that any worse. And granola is only good if you push it together so it clumps up.. thanks for the tip!

I may make this tonight...

This is exactly what I've been craving! What type of oil do you recommend using?

I used canola oil, so vegetable oil. just whatever doesn't really have a flavor

I love granola! I look so forward to giving this recipe a try... chocolate granola is a big thing in Europe and as an American, I am totally embracing it while living over here!

Granola cluster are the reason why I eat granola in the first place, there is something in searching for them in a box that I simply can't describe with words! Great recipe!

mm i love the combination of cocoa + hazelnuts! like nutella or a ferrero rocher!!

im pretty obsessed with making granola and ive found the best way to get clumps is to:
(1) use both quick-cooking oats + rolled oats
(2) combination of liquid + dry sweetener
(3) use extra binders, like flour / nut butters, etc.! email me if you are interested in more tips, haha
